In three days time we are expecting many of you to return for our 40th Anniversary Reunion. For those of you not able to attend, we hope that you might take the time to visit the Reunion website: www.brockwood2009.org.uk. Each day we will be posting in a blog with news and photographs from the Reunion. We hope also to offer audio and video clips from the concerts and workshops that are due to occur. You will be able to see and hear what is happening and perhaps spot some of your old classmates and teachers in the process.
On each day of the Reunion, during the morning TOTWAM (the only time we all meet), we plan to read out to the entire gathering a few messages from alumni who have been unable to join us. These and other such messages will also be displayed for all to read on a notice-board in the main marquee. If you would like to write such a message, please address it to: firstname.lastname@example.org Don’t forget to add your full name and the years you were at Brockwood. You may wish to address your email to one of the participants, rather than the whole group, in which case you should simply make clear who the recipient is, the email will be printed out by us, placed in an envelope with the recipients name clearly shown, and then left on the main notice-board for collection.
Finally, if you decide at the last minute that you can come to the Reunion and are able to grab a flight, jump on a train, or borrow a car, then do. We still have space available in tents and under trees! We can also provide you with details for local accommodation. It would help if you called or emailed us to let us know you are on your way, as we need to record numbers on a daily basis for the sake of the kitchen. If it is completely out of the question, then I hope you will take the time to write us a note and perhaps relate a favourite Brockwood story, or your thoughts about your time here. Whatever happens, do keep in touch, and come and see us when you can.
